Meet the Team

Amy Ford

Amy Ford

Pharmacist & Owner

Amy is a highly experienced pharmacist and business owner with over 13 years working in community pharmacy. After graduating Amy went straight into the challenge of pharmacy ownership. She loves working in the community and is here to help you achieve great health. Amy has a keen interest in natural health and integrative medicine. Her emphasis is on providing the best, up-to-date, quality, and practical advice along with accessible and efficient service.

Amy has become a well-known, well-liked and highly respected pharmacist and local business owner on the Gold Coast, and was recently named Gold Coast Aspiring Young Businesswoman of the Year. Training and educating her staff is of great importance to her, including the mentoring of other up and coming pharmacists.

Even with her commitments to business, Amy still dedicates a large portion of her time to giving back to the community. She is an active Rotarian and is often spotted volunteering at various community events and planning large community fundraisers. Amy’s also an avid supporter of the Gold Coast Suns and their Horizons program, and you will often find her selling raffle tickets on game day.

In life, Amy follows four main principles: that health is a journey not a destination; prevention is better than cure; if you don’t have time to be healthy, you’d better find time to be sick; and life is for living.

Amy loves the Gold Coast and enjoys time outdoors. In her spare time (!!) she is a dedicated triathlete and this year will represent Australia in the 2014 International Triathlon Age Group World Championships in Canada.
